All you need is a baseball bat and ball to get started
New to the game or chasing a championship, there is a place for you at Ironbridge Park. Friendly trials run every Saturday — just bring your energy and we will handle the rest.
Professional Training
Level-based sessions led by certified coaches, from first catch to advanced batting-cage work.
Flexible Scheduling
Morning, evening and weekend slots across all age groups, with catch-up sessions every month.
For three decades the Sluggers have turned first-timers into first-team regulars. Our volunteer coaches, kept grounds and family stands make Ironbridge Park the friendliest place in the county to learn America's pastime.
More About Us
Vision and mission
The more you play it, the more you will like it
Our mission is simple: keep baseball affordable, welcoming and fiercely fun. Every child who walks through our gate gets a glove in hand and a coach who knows their name within the first session.
From tee-ball Saturdays to floodlit senior fixtures, we build players who respect the game — and teammates for life. That is the Slugger way, and it has worked since 1995.

The Slugger Academy runs year-round across three age bands. Small groups, real games every weekend and a clear pathway from first swing to senior selection.
Parents stay close to the action with shaded stands, a clubhouse café and progress updates from your child's coach each half term.

Three squads, one badge. Every Slugger trains on the same fields, learns the same playbook and walks out to the same anthem on game day — from under-8s to the senior nine.

We're not just a team, we're a brotherhood
Side by side every inning — through extra frames, rain delays and championship Sundays.
Ask any Slugger what the badge means and you will hear the same answer: nobody gets left on base. Veterans mentor rookies, families run the scoreboard and every win belongs to the whole club.
